More Bday Fun!!!

Gabe wanted to go to Build A Bear for his birthday, so our family headed downtown for some bear building fun, and whatever else fun we could find to do too.

Here we are at Build A Bear, I have to say, this is pretty ingenious concept, hmmmmm.

Gabe had fun picking out his bear, and making a wsh with the heart, giving him a bath, and picking out clothes for Spotty(that is what he got named). He is sooooo soft!

Hailey brought some money with her so that her bear, Snowflake, could get a new outfit. She loved having it try on clothes too!

Hailey got to give hers a bath too.

And, wouldn't you know, Gabe wanted his bear to a wear a hockey uniform....this is new. I never knew he had an interest in hockey, hmmmm....maybe we should try out some ice skating this winter. That could be fun!

After Build a Bear, we walked to the fountain they had nearby, and the I sat with Spotty and Snowflake, and took pictures while the kids and Jerry went and played in the water. It was a hot day, so it felt really nice.

Then we headed to ToysRUs for some shopping, thanks for the gift Grandpa and Bonnie,

Gabe loves to pick out the presents too!

We also are signed up for the birthday club with the store and the kids get a $3 giftcard from them each year....so....FUN!

It was getting pretty late by this point, so Gabe didn't decide on anything yet, we are going to have to go back. But, we had fun in there anyway!

We headed home, and Gabe has asked me everyday since,"Are we going to Toys R Us today?" I think it is a pretty fun store too.

On Friday night, we had some friends over, and had cake and ice cream...I was glad Gabe had to wait on the toy store, cuz he got a little more money for a toy he might want. Thanks Naceys!!!

He got to open another present, TinkerToys....he has been wanting those for a while...and I think because all of these presentsread out....it made him take some time to appreciate the presents as they came, including the last one, a new Bionical Lego set from Andersons, thanks!!!

It was good!

So, Gabe had a really eventful birthday this year, not your typical party, but lots of little parts that added up to BIG FUN!
