Birthday Fun!

Gabe's birthday has come and gone, but the fun lasted for a few days.

We had a backyard campout with the kids in the circle,

Taylor, Anika, and Danika joined us for that.

We had a little campfire with hotdogs, marshmallows and everything.

The weather got a little crazy...had some thunderstorm warnings....but, I knew they would end by 12:30. So, we toughed it out, and talked about the pioneers on the plains during storms. Since it was almost Pioneer Day, we thought it was fitting.

The weather was right back to HOT the next morning, you couldn't even tell it had rained at all.

We had a yummy breakfast that included a berry smoothie, can you tell?

And, then, the kids just wanted to play together all day together....friends are awesome!
